At Living Springs, avenues are created for members to use their talents to bring the vision of the ministry to pass through their service to God. The following is a list of all our ministries and a brief description of each one. Please feel free to join any of them. Audio-Visual
The Audio Visual department is responsible for the control and maintenance of sound and visual equipments used for recording our ministration during our service.
Buildings & Facilities
This is the maintenance department of LSIC. They ensure that the building and its facilities are kept in good shape and in accordance with state regulations and church standards at all times.
Christian Education
Also known as church education, it is the main teaching ministry of the church. Members are trained to teach and guide sections of the congregation in scripture, ensuring that the scriptural health of the church is at its utmost.
Counselling
The counselling ministry ensures that those who are having difficulties in relationships counselled through it. They deal with all kinds of counselling, including pre and post marital, marriage and all family issues.
Encouragers
The gateway to the LSIC family. Encouragers are among the first point of contact for all first timers; helping would-be members go through the membership process until they become full members of the LSIC family.
Finance & Administration
The finance team is responsible for the development of effective stewardship programmes in order to assure adequate funds are available to meet the budget of the church. They also supervise the proper handling and disbursement of such funds. This ministry has the sole responsibility of administering and running the entire LSIC organization.
Home Groups
The Home Group scheme is a community based programme of LSIC to help members of the church living various localities come together outside church ours to study the Word, fellowship and to get to know one another. Membership of this group involves leading your local group.
Information and Publication
This is the media ministry of LSIC. They are responsible for the dissemination of information from the leadership of the church (and individuals) first to the congregation and second to the general public in the form of advertisements.
Living Praise Choir
The choir is responsible for ministering in songs and leading the congregation to the presence of the Lord. Currently, within the choir we have the instruments team, praise and worship team and the choristers.
Men of courage
This is a men only group within the church established to unite men in LSIC focusing on issues that affect Christian men. This group also aim to support the church through unity and service.
Ushers
The ushering ministry provides service to members of the congregation during our services by making sure that on the one hand services run smoothly without interruptions from the congregation and on the other, that members of the congregation are comfortable and well catered for.
Wise Builders
This is a Women only group that focuses on issues affecting Christian women. It supports members through seminars, retreats, conferences etc to mature in the Lord as Christian women.
Youth (J4C)
In a world where the youth is being led in all directions but the church, here at Living Springs, the youth ministry is committed to teaching and directing the youth (ages 13 – 17) to live their lives just for Christ (J4C)
